  • Severe Weather Advisories

    Severe Weather Alerts.

    In the event severe weather conditions threaten our area, Florida Neurology Group follows the Advisories issued by the National Hurricane Center, www.nhc.noaa.gov.

    When Advisories are issued, Florida Neurology Group's primary concern will be the safety and welfare of their patients and staff.

    In such situations, Florida Neurology Group will initiate the following:

    • During Tropical Storm Watch, Florida Neurology Group Offices will be Open.
    • During Tropical Storm Warning, Florida Neurology Group Offices will be Closed.
    • During Hurricane Watch, Florida Neurology Group Offices will be Open.
    • During Hurricane Warning, Florida Neurology Group Offices will be Closed.

    If our offices will be closed, we will make every effort to contact and reschedule those patients that have scheduled appointments.

    In collaboration with the Hope Parkinson Program, The Davis Phinney Foundation will host their world-renowned The Victory Summit® symposia series. This incredible event will take the place of Hope’s annual Spring Symposium and is expected to bring together as many as 1,000 people for a day of inspiration and learning. The event will include presentations by internationally and nationally recognized researchers, clinicians, and physical therapists,

    The Victory Summit symposia deliver up-to-date information and practical tools that people with Parkinson’s can use to live well today. Participation is free, and the event is open to all members of the Parkinson’s community.

    Dr. Amanda Avila, Hope Parkinson Program Medical Director, will present “PD Medical Treatments: Fact vs. Fiction”.

    Patricia Radford, Senior Associate Director, Advancement from the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, will present an overview on the current state of Parkinson’s research and share exciting updates from the Foundation.
